I am posting this on behalf of a friend in PA - this is what he has to say:
1990 K1 - Ketchup and Mustard (Red/Yellow)
Too many toys in the garage! Mint condition. Collectible. 27k miles,
majority highway. Garage kept and has never seen rain. Includes original
rider's seat pillion, rear saddle bags, owner's manual, tool kit, and keys.
First offered in 1990, the K1 was a revolutionary bike for BMW which quickly
became the Motorcycle of the Year. And for good reason. It featured such
innovations as wind-tunnel designed bodywork, paralever suspension, full ABS
brakes, custom Antera wheels, and a powerful 4-cylinder engine. Only about
6,900 bikes were ever made and only an estimated 600 were imported into
North America. Red/Yellow is arguably the best example of this special
breed.
Aftermarket options lovingly applied include clearcoat paint (to
protect the original paintwork), daytime running lights, air horn, OEM BMW
logo reflectors, high-intensity driver's light, and auxilary 12V jack.
Features a new master cylinder and battery. This bike is well suited as
either an addition to your collection or as a daily driver for the
connoisseur.
