Chicago Region BMW Motorcycle Owners Assoccrbmw

If you were at the rally and saw the gentleman custom painting the bikes and helmets...and just didn't get around to doing it but you want to, he has agreed to stop in Chicago or suburbs on his way to Sturgis on July 27th or on his way back..August 3rd. He said if we line up 4-5 bikes he'll make the stop in Chicago. If you're interested post here and we can give him a call to set something up. I had my helmet done and thought he did a really nice job on the bikes I saw. He'll freelance something or put what you want...pinstriping, too. It's not cheap but if it's what you want done, he's willing.

Anyway, his name is Russ and his number is 603-738-7313. I don't have anyplace to have bikes left for the day but if someone is interested and wants to offer their driveway...that would be great.

I can volunteer my large (hard to snow-blow) driveway, but I'll be leaving for work at noon. You'd still have access to (outside) AC power and water.

Am on the far NW side of Chicago, easy access to Kennedy (I-90).

This guy is excellent! Did stripes on my long-departed K11RS, and decorated Liz's helmet, too. And you will see the job he did on Christy's helmet this year. It's all hand work. If you've been thinking about adding some custom paint accents, but weren't able to get to the rally, sounds like a great opportunity!

So far no one has shown an interest. Should this change I'll post here or maybe you can email a cell number, just in case. Unless people want to wait around for Russ to finish their bike, it might just be Russ there once he knows what people want done.

I had my helmet done. Thought it would be nice to add alittle something to the bike, too.
