The annual Polar Bear Run, which some of us consider the opening event of the riding season, is scheduled for New Year's Day. Due to the closing of the Harley-Davidson shop in Crete, however, it starts from a new location.
Here's the announcement from the Homeless Hawgs website:
"January 1st - Annual Polar Bear ride - Ride starts at Round the Clock on 394 & Sauk Trail
"Meet at noon, leave at 1pm and finish at Pick-ups on Torrence (just north of Rt 30)
"Even if you don’t ride, come on out an join us at either or both locations!"
