It's a beautiful spot, and I would be happy to stock the fridge and go get some Bratt's. Take a break on the way up or back. If you look at the map, it is the whole green block extending North from 113th st to 114th streen with the Black River cutting through diagonally. There are 2 ponds, 4 or 5 miles of walking trails. A very serene pine woods (prolly 20 acres) with cut walking trails.

Either I could be there the weekend of the ride, or I would give some one the keys.

It would be a crime to pass that close without stopping by and I am not a crook! That's kind of you to offer. We'll have to fit a stop at your place into our itinerary.

Cindy agrees with Bill that deer are a high risk after dark. (Dan, OTOH claims that you will typically miss two out of three of them. ) So I'm leaning more toward a Saturday-Sunday ride.

I've pretty much settled on the first weekend in June, making it June 7-8. I've also found that we have an additional attraction, Owosso's Curwood Festival: http://www.curwoodfestival.com/ That gives us something else to check out. (There will be food.) And actually... There's another place in Owosso that has pretty good ice cream cones.

But there's a down side to Curwood Festival. For those who prefer not to camp, one of the places to stay is in Owosso at the Comstock Inn http://thecomstockinn.com/. We've stayed there and it is about 15 minutes away from Henry's place. I don't know if it fills up during the Curwood Festival but I've asked. There's another town 15 minutes in the other direction and Lansing is about half an hour away, so there are other options
