March Meeting Guest
We (Chitech) have invited the Stop & Go man to our March meeting to help explain and demonstrate his product (the Pocket Tire Plugger). We talked to him at the Rosemont show and he agreed to come and help us. He is aware we intend to bring some old tires on rims for members to practice on, and we expect some may bring kits other than his brand. In other words, the event will be as originally planned; we simply added his presentation to it. Chitech members will also bring tire plugging kits for others to try. The tire plugger man is also hoping to sell some of his kits to our members. He also did a demo and sold some kits at one of our meetings several years ago. It is a fine product; I purchased one myself at that meeting.
William Merriman is president of Stop & Go International, Inc. At the show, he had two kits for sale, a basic one (plugs and installation tools) and a kit which also contained co2 cartridges and an inflator tool. The basic kit was around $30 and the kit with inflator stuff was around $50. He asks that members be made aware that he will not have equipment to accept credit cards and he can accept checks or cash only.
