Chicago Region BMW Motorcycle Owners Assoccrbmw

Do you have some annoying problem with your motorcycle you have been unable to diagnose? A question about long term storage? An accessory item you need advice on how to install? Maybe an older bike you wish to restore? A maintenance issue? Or perhaps you simply would like to hear some ideas ''just in case'' a problem arises.

Following a format somewhat similar to that of the Tappet brothers (Click and Clack) of Cartalk on public radio, we of Chitech are presenting a Question and Answer type Seminar. We will do our best to answer any and all BMW motorcycle related technical questions. Unlike the Cartalk radio show, however, we will not address problems with your ''significant other'', your children, or life in general. Another difference is that we will appear in person, not just voices on your radio.

The location for all this fun will be Seymours BMW shop, 3510 N. Elston, Chicago.
The time will be 9 to Noon, on November 8, with doors opening at 8am.
We will provide coffee and bagels, for which we ask a $5 donation.
As always, ''kibitzers'' are welcome.

Hey John! Been passin' the word around about the Q&A. Have several non-members interested and told them they could come as an invited guest. (prospected member maybe???)
Anywhoo,I'm gonna stop at Dappers restaurant around 7am for "vittles" before the session.
Dappers is 2 blocks east of Elston on Addison,southside of street in a little shopping mall.

I wanted to offer a big thanks for the Chitech program this past Saturday at Seymour Goldbergs shop. There was alot of useful discussion about many topics on our bikes. This is just another great benefit of being a member of the Chicago Region. More members should consider attending these events, even though there was considerable competition from a beautiful and unseasonably warm, fall November day. Thanks Again!
