Thought I'd see if anyone is interested in my low mileage bike. I really hate to even post this, but what can you say about the economy.

I bought this from an inmate over at the adventure rider forum who lives in New Hampshire. Picked it up in Feb 2005 with very few miles on it. I intended to take this bike to South America, but ran out of fun money a few years ago.

I've got a few pictures of the bike on my smugmug page. ABS and heated grips. As you can see there are a lot of Touratech goodies along with brand new Zega panniers. The bike has the low seat on it and I have the standard seat that came with it. Also have a nice tank bag for it. Low mileage unmounted Tourance tires are part of the package as well. All of the replaced original parts are available in a box as well. $5750 - I am not parting anything out.

Selling the Dakar is the last thing I want to do. I love my bikes, so selling one is like cutting off a piece of my body, but . . . this economy requires some drastic measures. Who know maybe that lost rich uncle will find me and I'll be able to keep the Dakar or maybe I'll find an investor for my motorcycle school.

I barely work too at the company , just enough to maintain my insurance . If it comes down to selling one bike most likely will be my 2003 Dakar and I will keep my 2002 GS converted into a Dakar. I hope that will not happen just because this bike are a Piece of Heaven to me .

I've had some calls - we'll see if anyone shows up to look and test ride.

Got someone stopping by Thursday - kind of keeping my fingers crossed - we need the cash, but I hate to sell the bike that was going to carry me on a dream.

Kind of means the dream is dead for awhile. Sad but true, reality sucks.
