I am interested in traveling to Mexico in October 2010 for several weeks. I was to attend this years Int'l BMW Rally to be held in Chiaps Mexico. It's WAY down in the south of Mexico. I attended this rally 2 years ago and tell you it is ABSOLUTELY a FIRST rate rally. 4 days. ALL food and alcohol included. Registration is open RIGHT NOW and is limited to only 600. The sooner the better to register.
To make this a more affordable trip, my good friend (from work) (Mexican) is getting married in a little town South of Mexico City. We are invited to stay (a week?) for FREE !
It is about a days ride from there to the start of the rally.
I really am looking for someone MORE fluent in Spanish than me.

I'm very interested! I was going to do the IBA 5000 Rally in August, but I'm considering dropping out to do a few other rides instead. This sounds like the ride I that I've been wanting to do for awhile. Looks like I need to bump learning Spanish up the list. Larry
