1985 BMW K100RT One Owner, Original Title.
Only 15,840+ original miles Basically the bike sat for a number of years.
So I just did a complete maintenance, including all tune items, all fluids and spline lube etc. Replaced all hoses. Lubed all Cables. Replaced Steering Head Bearing, Wheel Bearings.
Corbin Seat. Radio Kit. (No Radio) Brand New Pirelli Tires Front and Rear. Replaced Injectors, Fuel Pump and Fuel Filters. Acid Washed Tank. Replaced Air Filter and replaced all Brake Pads and Brake Fluids.
Did Valve Adjustments and Replaced Valve Cover Gaskets. It's probably easier to just say I replaced all rubber on this entire bike.
New Top of the line BMW Battery. Used all OEM BMW Parts including hoses etc.
Although I'm a Harley mechanic, I did most of the work myself and had some assistance from Seymour at Seymours BMW on Elston. I did save all old parts so you can verify all this work was done.
The bike runs like new and you won't find a better runner, especially at this price.
Near 18th and Desplaines, Chicago in Pilsen.
I'm also selling a Buell M2 Cyclone.

5/6 Lots of interest, but no-one has purchased to date. And I need to get this out of my garage, it's cramped and I'm parking on the street. So I'll be posting this on EBay but it's still available locally.

*Please note: For those of you that have been following this bike...I had been describing this as a K100LT...While videotaping this to post on EBay I noticed the markings are that it's actually a K100RT. My brother in law has been calling it a K100LT for the better part of 25 years so it just stuck with me. I'm not sure what the differences are and I'll look it up later but for purposes of full disclosure wanted to mention the error. And I put the price back to the original asking price because I'm going to post this on EBay with that as the Buy It Now. It's still for sale locally directly so ask if you want this.
