I have just picked up a BMW R75/5 SWB project with title. Only 5400 or so original miles on it. But it was disassembled in 1993 by someone who planned to do a custom thing, powercoat frame etc and then didn't know what to do with it once it was apart
He dropped it when he did some kind of wobble ( I hear this is common on SWB models)but no damage other than some scuffs.
And I have a few needs...
A seat (or seat pan) worth recovering.
I have the Toaster Chrome tank panels, but they're not great. Hoping someone has a pristine set stashed away and now realizes they'll never get to it.
In case someone has the LWB SwingArm and Upper Frame assembly, I could convert it to LWB.
And my handlebars could stand to be replaced. Rust and all.
Finally I have a engine guard but has some scuffs, I can grind/buff out but maybe if you have a nice set let me know.
And if you have any R75/5 nice parts let me know...if they're better than what I have I may save on having everything I have re-chromed.
