Changing PIAA Bulbs 4 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 0
Easy way to separate the old bulb is to squeeze the base with a vise grips until it pops. Outside, with gloves on, and wrapped in a rag. The broken reflector can than be easily picked off the lens. The MR16 Sylvania Halogen Indoor/Outdoor 50 watt flood sealed beam has it's own lens. No need to reseal the PIAA to it. They fit together perfectly when reassembled. Being flood lights, they are annoyingly bright to oncoming traffic. But that's the whole idea, isn't it?
I have found a cure for PMS (parked motorcycle syndrome).
Try out your new rainsuit on a rainy Spring weekend. See how very noticed you are with your new lights on.
