Steamboat: US-30 (Lincoln Highway) and Wolf Rd., Mokena 815-469-4343 N41 30.201 W87 53.319

Went by there Wednesday 4-22-09 this week, and the sign on the building said "Closed During Construction".
Currently,there is road construction at Rt 30 and Wolf Rd. The work zone from the Rt30/Wolf Rd corner,stretches east right in front of the place (southside of road) for about 1-2 blocks.
Maybe the work will be all done by the time we assemble there.
So maybe a phone call a week or two before hand,will help clearup any questions.

Thank you for that information Rich, I'll try to remember to call them in advance and get the heads up as far as how to plan that Monday night.

When I talked to them a couple months ago, they seemed to think they'd be open all summer, though there may be a change of ownership coming along at some point.

Hi, I live near the location on wolf a R30 I will keep an eye on the progress. It should be back soon.When its back up I will post.

This year we will not be going to Steamboat. The 2010 schedule is now posted at the top of "Hot Dog Rides".
