Friday night is the least crowded, but any day works. For me it's also an excuse to stop by the world's best hot dog stand - Gene & Jude's -

Surely you know the two criteria for the hot dog connoisseur - crunch factor and size.

I'm afraid that you've confused a robust crunch factor with a rubbery texture. This might be caused by eating too many weak skinned dogs impersonating as the real deal.

As for size, that's a personal issue and relates directly to the cost of the dog and profit margin desired by the eatery.

For me and hundreds of thousands of hot dog lovers that frequent the busiest hot dog stand in the area - Gene and Jude's get both crunch factor and size just right. From a hot bog purist point of view, it just doesn't get any better than this.

Myself and some friends will be there Sat. noon at the BMW area. Look for a fat guy with a BMW shirt on. Oh, that could be confusing!
