Gray's Papaya in NY
Hot Doug's in CHICAGO 3324 N. California
Rutt Hutt in NJ
Otto's in Ore
Varsity in Atlanta
Pink's in LA
Ted's in NY

Too bad none are on the way to the National this year. Maybe next year.

There must be something wrong with the list. They have a place from LA in 6th... I grew up in the city of angles... You can't get a good hot dog or a pizza to save your soul in that place, not unless you air freight it in from Chicago or NY...

these people must of been bribed... Portland Oregon, what, they make their dogs out salmon and red wood chips... Atlanta, oh please, Ted Turner threatened to cut off MSNs Coca-cola supply...

thanks carol, now i have another reason to go in the city...

Lots of us are retired. Some of the rest of us have flexible schedules. How about considering an experimental weekday lunch Hot Dog Ride?

Speaking for myself, I'd prefer to do a weekday lunch rather than fight rush hour traffic for a hot dog.

Oh, I guess I'm also saying that because Hot Doug's is one of the few places around that offers a veggie dog.
