Interested in a good escorted ride for a terrific cause?
Sunday, October 9th, Rolling Thunder, Chapter 2 has a ride that starts at the James A Lovell VA Hospital in North Chicago. The ride heads west and ends at the Lake Villa VFW.
Bring a toy for the Toys for Tots program. Get there a bit early and meet and greet the veterans who are currently living at the hospital. Great chance to thank them for their service and brighten their day with a hello and some chatter. Proceeds from the rally go directly to these vets.
