Watch the classic biker movie Easy Rider and meet Peter Fonda!

If you're like me, you grew up watching Easy Rider and thinking about riding a motorcycle just like the ones Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper rode. Well now you have a once in a lifetime chance to see the movie with your riding buddies and to meet a real motorcycle and movie legend. How cool is that?!

When: Sunday, January 31st
Where: Hollywood Blvd Cinema located at 1001 West 75th St in Woodridge, IL. Easy to get to - less than a 2 mile drive from I-355
Time: Meet at the theater at 2 pm - show starts at 4 pm - early arrival means that we get through the meet Peter Fonda part and then get to be seated early.
Cost: Tickets are $12 each
Deadline: January 22nd - I plan on buying the tickets on January 23rd. Groups of 20 or more will be seated early.

There is no charge to meet and get a photo with Peter Fonda. If you want an autograph, there will be a $20 charge. I plan on bringing an old movie poster for him to sign. There are a bunch on eBay.

Hey! There has to be a few more folks amped up about this event!

Shoot me an email and I'll give you mailing address and you can just send me a check for your tickets. I want to buy the tickets this weekend. I don't need your money by then, just your name(s) and a promise to mail me your check for $12 a ticket.

I'll buy the tickets in a block and then will give them to you at the theater while we're waiting in like to meet Peter Fonda.

We have 21 riders going! That will get our group seated early. Read that as we get to pick our seats before anyone else gets into the theater as opposed to selecting what's left over after we stand in line to get in.

Get your motor running, get on down the highway........

I am in for 4 tickets as Patti has never seen the movie and I am sure there will be some people who miss last call to Larry, so a couple of more tickets might be available. Maybe I could go to a biker bar and find a couple of interested souls. This will be fun! Come on everybody, see a classic movie and meet the man (he rides a Beemer in real life)!

It's not too late to join in. If you still want to go but missed the group ticket buy deadline, I might be able to accomdate you. You will need to buy a ticket for the 4 pm show on Sunday, January 31st and show up like everyone else at 2 pm to get in line. You'll need to let me at least a day before so I'll know that you'll be there. That way I can let the GM know and we can boost the number of our group that will be seated early.

Warning! This may sell out - if you wait to buy a ticket on the day of the show you may not get in.
