Thank you for all your prayers and support. It's been almost 2 months since my motorcycle accident in Wisconsin. I am lucky (blessed) to be alive. The doctors said that my helmet save my life. For those of you who do not know, I was with the annual motorcycle ride up to LaCross, Wi. Long story short, I had problems negotiating a curve in western Wisconsin. I ended up down the far side of the curve, down the hill. A miracle happened and I was found B/4 darkness. I got amazing help by the ambulance, ER, and Med-flighted me to University of Wisconsin, Trauma 1 hospital in Madison. Another ongoing miracle occured in that I am NOT paralized. I'm sure me wearing my helmet, armored summer motorcycle jacket, boots, glove, kevlor-lined jeans, helped!
I have been home for a few weeks. I am getting stronger and my stamina is increasing. I have several broken bones and am in a body (TSLO) brace.
I am up to calls, E-Mails, and visits
(after you call...I have been out alot going to doctors, getting tests(X-rays, cat scans) I usually take a nap between 12 to 3PM.
I am anxious to go to a monthly meeting,
Don Weber
