Do you know what a BMW M1 is? How about a 501, a 503, or a 507? Would you recognize a BMW 3200cs? These are all vintage BMW automobiles, and they are all automobiles I have seen at one time or another at The Werkshop in Lake Bluff. 2002's, Bavarias, and 3.0cs's are also likely to be there. The Werkshop is a vintage BMW car restoration and repair shop. They do very high quality work. The restorations often look better than when the cars were new.
I am planning to lead a ride there on April 23rd. We will meet at the Full Moon restaurant at 9am for those who want a breakfast. The Werkshop will open at 10am for us. Mike and Don have also offered to provide refreshments for us. Bring a camera. If you have any interest in BMW cars, you will not be disappointed.
