This was recently posted to the Airheads email list, regarding Matt Parkhouse; a frequent ON contributor with his "Keep 'em Flying" column. Thought members here would like to know. This is all the information I have.

Last week Susanna took Matt to the emergency room, and he was admitted for an emergency gall bladder surgery. There were complications and he has had 2 other procedures since that time and was moved into ICU on Saturday afternoon following the third procedure.

Very early Monday morning the staff in ICU notified Susanna to come to the hospital. Matt was put on a ventilator and has pneumonia and an infection. Yesterday the ICU staff determined that Matt needed to be paralyzed to ease his ability to breath. The pneumonia has improved and his color is better, but he is in guarded condition and uncommunicative.

Please keep Matt & Susanna in your prayers. Cards can be sent to the house:
1129 West Pikes Peak Ave.
Colorado Springs, CO 80904

Wish I didn't need to share this news with you.
