CRBMW members are a diverse group of men and women who are individualists by nature. We come from all walks of life - tradesmen, professionals, business owners, housewives, retirees, students. Some of our members are in their early 20s and others in their late 70s. The one thing we all have in common is our interest in BMWs and our love of motorcycling.
Whether you log thousands of miles on one trip or just putt around town, you'll benefit greatly from the friendships, expertise and outlook of fellow Chicago Region BMW Owners Association members.
The Chicago Region BMW Owners Association has a long and proud tradition. We'd like you to be a part of our heritage.
CRBMWOA was founded by a small but energetic group of BMW enthusiasts in 1969. The members who chartered our organization were intent on bringing together like-minded "Beemer" owners who had a passion for their unique bikes and an interest in the fledgling sport of motorcycling.

Now 35 years later, The Chicago Region BMW Owners Association boasts some 250 plus members, making it the largest and most active BMW Club in the region. We enjoy a rich heritage of accomplishments and history.
CRBMWOA is a great organization for BMW motorcycle fellowship, group riding activities and technical information regarding both new and vintage BMW motorcycles.
Loads of Riding Activities
The Chicago Region BMW Owners Association works hard to offer you many useful and fun-filled activities. Members can participate in the events that interest them. We have a Membership Meeting on the third Thursday of each month where members and their guests get together and have a good time talking and showing off their BMWs. Usually 50 to 100 people will show up at these meetings.
Please the Meetings page for detailed meeting information.
Participation in group rides, such as our early Spring ride to Starved Rock State Park, is typically attended by 50 to 100 people. Each club ride or event attracts a different assortment of riders and guests.
We also have three or four CHITECH hands-on technical seminars each year. These sessions attract 15 to 20 people. Some come to learn how to fix their BMW motorcycle, others come to just have fun.
Join the Chicago Region BMW Owners Association and attend our rides and events. Find the activities that suit your riding style, have the kind of fun you want, and discover lasting friendships along the way.
Stop by and join the ride.
We are a diverse group that comprises owners, tinkers, hardcore mechanics, polishers and riders. 10% would need help finding Lake Geneva by lunchtime. 10% could be in Denver for supper. Most of the other 80% are also interesting. Characters abound.
