Chicago Region BMW Owners Association boasts over 250 members... the largest and most active BMW Motorcycle Club in the region. Meeting on the SECOND Thursday monthly, 7:30 pm 'til 9 pm at Elmhurst Elks Lodge, 711 W. St. Charles Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126.
This would indeed make a great club ride. I can envision an overnight or weekend ride to the 45x90 point, combined with a ton of all the good riding in the area, both on and off pavement. RoadRunner Magazine has some nice routes in this part of Wisconsin on their website and a new one in the current issue near Eau Claire (about an hour and a half west of the point) that they call the Midwestern Dragon.

Interesting geographical place to visit approx 300 miles north of Chicago. Read the link carefully. Also, has a link to other WI points of interest. Visit the Devil's Gate near Baraboo. How one would collect interesting photos of one's bike with the Niagara Escarpment could be a great challenge?
Hopefully, some club member(s) might put together a ride or three to these places in the coming 2020 riding season. I would certainly want to go.
ps; The Mount Baldwin Forest Preserve near Byron IL has the largest cottonwood tree in the state. If you haven't seen a Sequoia or Redwood yet, this might tide you over.
